DRUM FILLING MACHINE

A Linear Drum filling machine is used for filling Metal or HDPE drums with a single mouth opening with liquids in a linear sequence. These machines are widely used, simple to operate, both flexible & productive, and cost-effective. They are designed to handle various types of liquids, including lubricants, edible oils, DEF, bitumen and wide variety of chemicals.

Specifications:

  • Filling Capacity: 50kg to 250kg | Speeds up to 30 to 40 drums/hr with a single nozzle.
  • Filling Methods: Weigh metric (Load-cell based)
  • Accuracy: ±0.03% to ±0.05% for the total filled volume.
  • Filling Heads: 1–2 heads for scalable production.
  • Materials: MS(powder coated/Plated/FRP coated), Stainless Steel (SS n7/304/316), Oil seals & gaskets, food-grade seals, and components.
  • Control System: PLC, Custom sizing Touchscreen HMI for easy operation.

Features:

  • Auto Diving nozzle with positive cut-off. Two-stage coarse & fine filling cycle.
  • Available in 2 modes of filling (Gross/net).
  • Top filling method (Filling starts & ends from the top only) for most liquids.
  • Bottom filling method (Filling starts from the bottom towards the top of the bottle) for foaming liquids.
  • Available with Heavy-duty Roller conveyors for easy push-pull of the drums between stations.
  • Mechanical type Drip arresting tray below the nozzles for arresting accidental drip on request.
  • Auto lance homing system in case of misalignment of the lance with the drum mouth opening.
  • Resume/Abort filling facility in case of emergency pressed or power failure.
  • Standard reliable components & energy efficient drives.
  • Easy volume adjustment, real-time dynamic display of filling, product counter & multiple recipe storage on HMI & LCD.
  • Easy storage & retrieval of production data, alarms & data exchange for timely tracking.
